In California, do you have to disclose your health issues to your employer?

What kind of job are you applying for? For most jobs, it is absolutely illegal to ask these personal health questions. However for some jobs, such as being a police officer, they have the right to ask because they don't want a cop who is on meds for schizophrenia...as an example.
