Why are kiwis endangered?

kiwi bird is the native bird of new zealand, they are endangered due to loss in natural habit, deforestation, and many other factors. Introduction of other importerd animal species lead to a rapid decline of kiwi population, these animals prey on them and kiwi is a flightless so they cant protect themself from, at present the greatest treat is from invasive mammalian species that prey on them. Thats the reason why it is an endangered species.
